Update: Destiny 2 Gameplay Premiere is finally Done. Players are now keen to know about whether PS4 Pro would run Destiny at 60FPS or not. Well, Luke Smith (Lead Designer at Bungie) confirmed to IGN that ‘PS4 Pro will never run Destiny 2 at 60FPS but it’ll support 4K’. During a Q/A session with IGN FireTeam Chat, he said:

“The PS4 Pro is super-powerful, but it couldn’t run our game at 60”, he added. “Our game’s this rich physics simulation, with collision and players, networking etc. It wouldn’t run – not enough horsepower there yet.”

Although, we don’t have any clues about Xbox Scorpio. But PC will have an uncapped frame rate and 4K support! Destiny 2 will not release on September 8. 2017 on PC. We don’t have an exact release date for PC.

Confirmed: Destiny 2 Will Never Run at 60FPS on PS4 Pro, No Cross-Save Feature Announced!

Destiny 2 at 60FPS is not all! This rumor also leaked some really cool features for PlayStation 4 and PC users. According to him, Destiny 2 will include Cross-Save (progress you make on one platform is accessible on another) between PC and PS4. Xbox One will have one step back on this one. This is what he said:

– 60fps (from multiple first hand sources)
– PS4 and PC Cross-Save (not Cross-Play), and Microsoft is holding back the Cross Save for Xbox
– Optimized for PS4 Pro, the next PS4, and Scorpio
– More exclusive PS4 content

We know that Bungie is continuing it’s partnership with Sony hence PS4 players will get some Timed exclusive content for Destiny 2 until at least Fall 2018. We don’t know anything yet about that “the next PS4″. Keep in mind that this is just a rumor and nothing is confirmed here. But according to some sources, this rumor is pretty legit as NeoGaf is very strict with fake rumors.
